The doc tells nothing can be done now as cancer has spread in his body. There is very less time left with him. They should spend time together. Adi says she had said that his condition is improving & if need be she can operate. The Doc says there is no need for operation. Vid asks her to at least try to treat cancer. These days there is treatment of cancer and she knows people who got cured from cancer. If money is required then they will pay it. She need not worry and just cure Adi. The doc tells her to calm down and nothing can be done now. Adi says few days back she had only said that he will get well and now she is refusing. . Vidiya pleads her to treat Adi and there can be mistake in the reports and why doesn't she consult her senior. The doc is helpless as Adi takes Vid out.
As they are leaving, Vid falls down and Adi tells her that nothing will happen to him. ( his monologue- Today he lost hope too and nothing can go against God's wishes, he wants to know why but has no answers).
Roadside
Adi tells Vid not to lose courage and Vid says her courage is shattered. She cant control her tears so he shdnt ask her to stop crying. Adi says that's fine but she has to smile. Death is inevitable hence why not spend the remaining time with happiness and live life fully? Vid says he is right and they need to live life fully.
Sea shore
Adi is sitting lost in thoughts as Sam asks him why he called him there? Adi tells him to accept Mili as he loves her. Sam says how can he say that? Adi replies that he would have thrown her out of the house. Sam tells him he needs time for that. Adi says time doesn't wait for anyone and Mili needs him and before he dies he must accept her. Sam says he wouldnt die tomorrow so he doesn't need to. Adi questions how can he be confident that tomorrow he will be alive? He shouldnt trust life and today he can do it when he is still alive. Seeing a puzzled Sam, Adi gets up and says he has cancer and the docs have given up all hope. Sam is shocked and hugs him as Adi tells him not to reveal this to Arti as yet. ( Adi monologue- He needs to close the pages of life and is doing it since he wont need them anymore)
Compound
Billu is sitting outside his shop as he gets irked by a veggie vendor's loud call. He tells him to speak softly and then loses his cool and starts fighting with him. Adi comes there and stops him as Billu runs away.
Adi climbs stairs as he fondly sees Gupta's door and walks in his house. As he is resting, Billu comes to meet him and hugs him emotionally. Adi says how come he is crying? Billu replies knowing about cancer made him cry.
Staircase
Adi and Billu sit there to talk. Billu angrily says he wont spare cancer and nothing will happen to him. Adi says he knows that and even he wont leave cancer if he sees it. Adi then asks abt studies and Billu says he nothing is achieved by studying and Adi tells him he needs to become a big man. At this Billu says he doesn't want money which angers Adi who tells him a big man isn't one who is rich but one who can understand & accept his responsibilities and duties and fulfill them. He regrets he cldnt do that. Billu says if he is worried abt Antara then he shouldnt. Adi says yes he is worried as to what will happen to Antara after he is gone? Billu then shares that he likes Antara and wants to marry her when he grows up. ADi smiles and hugs him.
Abhi is tearfully watching this from the door.
Adi drawing room
Adi is lying in Vid lap and are talking abt moustache. Adi says she made him shave off the moustache and he can grow it back. Adi then asks how will Vik look with moustache just as Vik comes in. Adi then tells Vik to marry Vid as his cancer has no cure. Life is waiting for Vid and Vik will good with moustache as it will give him a older look to suit that of a father of 2 kids. Vid is shocked and asks what is he saying and this is no time for a joke. Adi says he doesn't have time only. Adi takes Vik's hand and gives Vid hand to him. He tells them to hold the hands forever and never leave it. Both Vik and Vid look at each other as Adi turns tearful.
TOM> Adi is writhing in pain with Vid by his side. Vid crying says she only told him not to leave her and go but she cant tolerate to see him suffering in pain so she wants him to leave and go away. Adi feels relieved.
